Big Data is more than once described as digital gold or the oil of the 21st century. Statements that are not at all modest. In our current information society owning data means possessing power and the battle is over and the influence of Big Data getting bigger and bigger.
growing information technology; and thus increasing the amount of information and knowledge that can be extracted from Big Data. Big Data is often used to find correlations and statistical relationships between people, events and phenomena. Based on this statistical links individual profiles are drawn up and prediction of individual behavior.
But what exactly are the opportunities of Big Data? And the potential dangers to our privacy brings Big Data entail? During the Beta Break from November 9 (12:00 to 13:00), we will talk with:
